The Catholic University Law School is formally known as the Columbus School of Law and is based out of the Catholic University of America. The Catholic University Law School is, as such, based out of Washington, D.C., and is placed at position #88 by the US News & World Report ranking of the country’s range of legal educational institutions. The Catholic University Law School has been open to students since 1897, when the Columbus designation was affixed to the institution in reference to a relationship with the Knights of Columbus Catholic service organization.
