Yale law school of New Haven, Connecticut has been around since the early 1800s. It has been a leading force in the law education world, and has remained true to some aspects that were held during its creation. When Yale law school was being funded and initially founded, one of the key components what the belief in remaining a smaller, educational facility. As other law schools grew up and into bigger academic fields, Yale law remained small and selective. The reason for the smaller classes is to provide students with the opportunity for one-on-one interaction with the professors.
Furthermore, because of Yale’s rich background, individuals are allotted with numerous opportunities to study in settings and course which they conceptualize and create themselves; this not only is conducive because of the small class background, but it is an important part of the leadership of individuals in an academic and work setting. In some instances, seminars are also organized by the preferences of the students.
Important aspects to keep in mind regarding Yale law, is that the typical class has less than 25 students in it; allowing for better interaction between students and professors. There are roughly 60 full-time professors employed by Yale law, and roughly 200 different courses that are offered.
Put all of these factors together, and Yale law school provides students with a plethora of opportunities and room for growth and expansion. Furthermore, there are also opportunities for the individual to gain work-experience through clinical programs, which are set up through Yale law and its affiliates.
